Acceptance of Terms

By using WingCast you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The Service

WingCast provides wingfoil forecast information, session logging and community features. The service is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees about accuracy, availability or fitness for any particular purpose.

Weather and tide forecasts are sourced from third-party APIs (Open-Meteo). We do not generate forecast data ourselves and cannot guarantee its accuracy.

Safety Disclaimer

Wingfoiling and kitesurfing are inherently dangerous sports. WingCast is a planning tool only. You are solely responsible for:

• Assessing actual conditions before launching
• Your own safety and the safety of others
• Complying with local bylaws and beach regulations
• Having appropriate skills and equipment for conditions

Never launch in offshore or cross-offshore winds without a safety boat. No forecast app can replace local knowledge and real-time assessment.

User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for keeping your password secure. One account per person. You must be 13 or older to use WingCast.

User-Generated Content

When you post condition reports, check-ins or comments you agree that:

• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You won't post offensive, misleading or harmful content
• We may remove content that violates these terms
• You grant WingCast a licence to display your content to other users

Subscriptions

WingCast Pro is a recurring subscription billed monthly or annually via Stripe.

• Free trial — 7 days free on all plans. You won't be charged until the trial ends.
• Cancellation — Cancel any time before renewal. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds — We offer refunds within 14 days of first payment if you haven't extensively used Pro features. Contact mattsilver8377@gmail.com.
• Price changes — We'll give 30 days notice of any price changes.

Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or abuse the service
• Create multiple accounts to abuse the free tier
• Post false condition reports that could endanger other users
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without permission

Intellectual Property

WingCast, its code, design and content are owned by Matthew Silver. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works without permission.

Your session data and GPS tracks remain yours. We don't claim ownership of user-generated content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WingCast and its operator shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of the service, including but not limited to accidents at sea, equipment damage, or decisions made based on forecast data.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
